The grocery getter started burning more oil than usual and fouling the #1 plug.
This is how I fixed it. So I have a 2010 with 50k miles when the problem started. Fixed it for about $40 with a new dorman valve cover. It has a different size and place for oil delivery for the 5.3's valve cancelling feature. Only needed an 8mm and a 10mm socket/ratchet and 10 minutes. If it excessively burns again the next step will be to program the valve canceling out all together. 🔧🔩
