This was me in March of 2016. My 40th birthday present was a great and healthy body.
Then the girlfriend left. Depression. Carefree attitude. Loss of focus. Falling self esteem. Bing eating.
The list is long.
There is a whole lot of issues that "mankind" faces and will not discuss openly because we are aculturated into being Macho. Being Macho has its place but the result is a declining mind, body, spirit.
GENTLEMEN, let's be kind to ourselves this festive. Check that alcohol intake, check your habits, take care of yourself.
We have kids and we owe it to them to be healthy and strong both mentally and physically. MIND. BODY. SPIRIT.
I don't have some athlete's photo to motivate me but have myself. I did it once, I can do it again.
Note: when it comes to issues of the heart, take care of yourself. A person who is committed to you will show them selves. Read the signs. Actions do not lie. Words do. Watch those actions. They tell a story, the real story that is really going on.
People have lost themselves to unrealistic theories about being. That warps their view of reality. ABC ladies and gentlemen. ALWAY BE CAREFUL.
WHILE YOU ARE AT IT, enjoy your life.
It's difficult to wear your heart in your sleeve and I don't do it often but it is essential.

So Ive just been to the barber. They had a new one.
Barber: Which country are you from?
Me: Zambia and you?
Barber: Oh, ok, I though you were from Nigeria. I am a Motswana
Barber: Are you not offended?
Barber: Why not?
Me: Because I an so honoured that 120million (60million because the other half are female) Nigerians look as awesome as I do.
Barber: hahaha, thats a fresh one.
I think he did a great job of barbering me. Reminds me of Ben Nkhoma of Northmead Blessings Mall in Lusaka, now there is an awesome barber!
Hello Mom | Photograph by Andrew Schoeman
“During a rain storm in Botswana, this pride of lions briefly stopped their hunting to regroup, and the two cubs took this opportunity to get a cuddle from their mom,” writes #YourShotPhotographer Andrew Schoeman. “A few minutes later, it was back to business and the pride started to move again.”
