I arrived into Oxford after lunchtime and decided to do a free walking tour with a brief stop at the food 🥘 markets for lunch. On the 2hr walking 🚶♂️ tour I learnt about the beginnings of the city and its colleges, some of the great writers who attended the colleges, such as Tolkien 🧝♂️, CS Lewis🦁 and Lewis Carroll🐇, some of the British pri ministers and world leaders who attended the College (including the pub where Australian PM Bob Hawke entered the Guinness world records for sculling a yard glass of beer 🍺 in 11 Seconds) and the gruesome story of Arch Bishops burnt at the Stake. Exploring Oxford felt like wandering through Hogwarts ⚡️ or something, awesome place!
England 🇬🇧 March 2017.
More @tombo_london pics from the weekend! Pictured is the delicious purple potato and matcha Swiss roll (which was also gluten free!).
Swipe ⏩ for more matcha cakes! We think we managed to try nearly everything on the menu 🙈
Even the January weather can't stop Oxford looking beautiful. Thanks to @alixurien for today's photo of the day, selected by mod @wheregoesrose

Yes, this is a very shit photo. It was taken with my phone in 2011 while I was screaming my lungs out because I couldn’t believe that Dolores O’Riordan was in front me. The woman and the band that I’ve been listening to since I was about 11 years old. The woman that made me think, “I’m gonna have more than a couple piercings on my ears because Dolores got, like, tons!” 2011 became one of the best years of my life because of this gig. I still remember how I spent hours with @riniunyil waiting for her backstage just because I wanted to tell her how amazing she was (didn’t meet her tho because we think she has already left 😅). I am, honestly and genuinely, heartbroken by this news. I thought I would have at least one more chance to see them live, but I was wrong. Thank you for being a part of my life growing up. You will always going to be one of the coolest women that has ever lived, on my book anyway. :’(
